Through Firstcard, we aim to remove economic barriers and achieve financial inclusion, empowering everyone to pursue their American Dream.Before starting Firstcard, I founded my first company iTank in 2007 when I was a college student in Japan. iTank became the premier/go-to online platform for students to seek out internship opportunities. In 2015, the HR-Tech startup was acquired by En Japan, a publicly traded, human resource company. Since I moved to the US in 2017, I have invested in over 30 startups such as Substack. I founded Firstcard in 2020 while I was pursuing an MBA at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.I'm also a father of 4 kids. Martial arts has been my life passion, and I’m an competitive kickboxer.
