Kenneth G. Kemerer (Ken) received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Tri-State (Trine) University. Following graduation, Mr. Kemerer began his career with the National Starch Company in Indianapolis, IN as a Process Engineer and shortly after moved into Production Management. Ken then joined WACKER in 1996 as Process Supervisor- Elastomers at the Company’s Adrian, MI facility. In 1999 he was named Director, Operations at WACKER’s Duncan, SC facility which produces silicone fluids for the textile, paper and pulp industries. In 2000 he was appointed Manufacturing Manager – Elastomers and returned to the Adrian, MI facility responsible for the production of silicone HCR, RTV, and LSR materials. Ken accepted a position in 2009 as Director, SILMIX®-Ohio to manage the business and operations of Wacker's custom compounding facility in North Canton, OH. In 2014 Ken moved back to Adrian, MI as Business Team Director for the North and Central America Construction Silicones Business Unit charged with managing and growing Wacker's Sealants, Hybrids, and Construction Additive products in this region.Starting in April of 2016 Ken became the VP of Global Operations for ICM Silicones Group, a Private Equity owned global organization. In this role, Ken was responsible for all operations and supply chain aspects of ICM Products in Cassopolis, MI producing silicone fluids, emulsions, and gels. In addition, Ken also manages the QSI facility in Richmond VA, plus the ACC facilities in England, Italy, and China which all produce a mixture of silicone elastomers and emulsions. Ken successfully positioned the overall operations of the ICM organization to facilitate a successful exit for the Private Equity Owners resulting in the 2017 sale to the CHT Group which subsequently resulted in a promotion to Chief Operating Officer for CHT USA. In addition, as CHT USA continued to grow, Ken was named General Manager plus given Business Development responsibility for CHT USA's Business Field Textiles plus Business Field Construction and Assembly .In January of 2022, Ken was promoted to President and Managing Director of CHT USA.
