At a recent event, I was asked to describe my core areas of expertise in 3 words. That answer is Technologist, Troubleshooter and Trader. What follows is the longer answer.TECHNOLOGIST: I am a senior technology consultant providing IT infrastructure best practices and project management since 1996. I hold over twenty (20) certifications from Microsoft, Citrix, ITIL, Vertical’s call center technologies including other IP and business certifications. In 2011, I combined my love of trading and technology to present on financial technology infrastructure best practices at Terrapin’s Quant Invest, High Frequency Trading World, HFT Leaders Forum and Wall Street and Technology High Speed Trading.TROUBLESHOOTER:I simply thrive on the challenge to improve current design and analyze systems to improve efficiency.TRADER:I have been involved with market forecasting for over 30 years. Personally, I began trading futures in 1988 and professionally from 1991-1996 as a co-founder of K&D Financial. In 2005, I founded Kinkopf Capital Management originally as a requirement to enter trading contests for award eligibility. Kinkopf Capital was registered as a CTA, member of the NFA, and registered with the CFTC. I won $2 million in award allocations, winning first place in five (5) CTA championships based on risk-adjusted during 2006-2010. I was recognized as "Top 10 Traders of 2009 and 2012" as published by Futures Magazine and identified as the "#1 Stock Index Trader" for 2009 and 2012 by CTA-Info Flash Reports. Bloomberg ranked my program as Top 10 Hedge Funds of 2012. My data scientist & big data skills allow me to create robust quantitative, systematic, non-discretionary trading algorithms using the latest technologies.
