My client base included Markit, 33 Old Broad Street, Kaiser Aluminium and Tenax Capital Ltd.• Developing bespoke reporting models for in-depth management reports.• Book keeping coordination and management accounts preparation.• Period end journals – accruals, prepayments, deferred income, movement in financial instruments, late corrective journals from prior period.• High volume multi-currency bank and expense account reconciliations.• Actual vs. budget analysis, assisting our clients with their financial controls.• Reconciliation of balance sheets.• Tax compliance and registration (VAT, corporation tax, P11D’s, income tax, National Insurance).• Preparing statutory accounts for audit to both IFRS and UK GAAP – balance sheet, profit and loss account, cashflow statement, statement of total recognised gains and losses etc.• Audit liaison and processing subsequent adjustments.• Accounting for hedge funds and other FSA regulated clients.• Managing workflow and coaching juniors.• Banking and capital markets clients, including producing accounts for special purpose vehicles (SPV’S).Reason for leaving: Immigration to Australia.
