Ken Lang is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Cosimo Venture Partners and developing new Blockchain technologies.Prior to that, Mr Lang was at Vringo, (renamed Form Holdings, NASDAQ:FH) where he served as CTO and on the Board of Directors, while teaching as Adjunct Professor at New York University.Ken has invented over 40 published and issued patents , two of which were successfully proven in US District Court to be responsible for over 20% of Google’s revenue. Mr Lang served as Chief Operating Officer at Keane Advisors, where he worked on new algorithms and technology for trading, asset allocation, and private equity. Before Keane Advisors, Mr. Lang invented an active gaming “holodeck”-style technology and founded Lightspace to commercialize it, which successfully completed an Initial Public Offering. Mr. Lang is a graduate of Duke University where he finished second in his class and holds Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics. He also holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University, where he studied artificial intelligence, machine learning and cryptography, and left the PhD program there to commercialize the technology he developed and founded WiseWire, where he served as CEO, CTO, and on the Board of Directors. WiseWire was successfully sold to Lycos in 1998, where he later served as Lycos’ CTO.
