Responsibilities include managing and directing all activities for a salt processing facility with 10 employees that processes over 90,000 tons of salt per year in a union environment. Duties include planning, organizing, and executing maintenance, holding monthly safety activities, environmental reporting, coordinating capital project work and developing & implementing a yearly budget. Additional duties include overseeing operations at Cargill Salt’s Fort Wayne Processing Facility. This facility has one Cargill employee and 10 contractor employees and processes over 120,000 tons of salt per year.
