He knew he had a lot to offer, but with the world in turmoil after the recent events of September 11th, many companies were on hiring freezes and opportunities were scarce. Lear knew that he wanted to work somewhere that his work ethic, team-player mentality, and competitive spirit would be rewarded, and searched for such a company across several different cities. Lear found just what he was looking for at a growing firm in New Jersey. There, he kicked off an exciting career, learning sales and customer service and participating in a challenging management training program that prepared him for what was to come.Less than two years after graduating from college, at just 23 years old, Lear opened his first company doing direct marketing for a Fortune 100 company. In the years since, his business has expanded to over a dozen locations across the country. The organization now represents several multi-billion dollar corporations, acquiring thousands of new customers annually on their behalf. What Lear values most about the entrepreneur life is the freedom to make choices. He appreciates that he is able to make decisions based on his values, and that he never has to take direction from someone above him on a ladder.
