After this introduction, during my Navy years, I completed a suite of financial courses including Principles of Accounting, Finance for Decision Making, Personal Financial Planning, Strategic Financial Management, Investment Fundamentals, and Portfolio Management. Despite my interest in accounting and finance, upon the end of my obligation from the Navy, I quickly found a job working in transportation. Although I’d not intended to make a career in transportation and logistics that is what happened. Nearly a decade later, I chose to achieve my dream finally and completed a BS in Business with an emphasis in Finance. I am eager to get down to business and put my studies to work, helping both individuals and families in their quest to improve their financial situations.
