As the CEO of the Washington International Trade Association (WITA), the world's largest non-profit and non-partisan organization for international trade policy and economic issues, I have been leading and growing the organization since 2014. I have tripled the membership, increased the revenue by over 50%, and expanded the reach and influence of WITA and its affiliates to over 100 countries and all 50 US states. With over 30 years of experience in government relations, lobbying, and public policy, I am an expert in navigating complex political landscapes and using modern communication and social media platforms to advance policy objectives. I am skilled in dealing with governments, the business community, and non-governmental organizations, and I have a deep knowledge of the workings of the US Congress and the Administration. I am a trusted partner of Democratic and Republican Members of Congress and staff in the House, Senate, and in several state and foreign capitals. I have a comprehensive background in international trade, climate, energy, health care, technology, retail, and consumer products. At WITA, our mission is to provide a neutral forum for the open and robust discussion of international trade policy and economic issues, and to foster the development of the next generation of trade policy leaders.
