Invero Pharma is a late clinical-stage pharmaceutical and drug delivery device company developing pharmaceutical grade xenon gas for inhalation to initially treat Post Cardiac Arrest Syndrome (PCAS). PCAS is characterized by a range of complications principally to the brain and the heart from the sudden loss of blood flow (“ischemia”) and reperfusion injury due to the reestablishment of blood flow following resuscitation. There are currently no approved pharmacotherapies for neuroprotection in this patient population. Based on positive Phase II data, and favorable regulatory positioning with the FDA, Invero Pharma will be conducting a Phase III clinical trial to verify the potentially significant reduction in mortality seen in earlier studies
