Dotcom Distribution is a leading provider of third-party logistics (3PL) and fulfillment solutions for eCommerce (B2C) and wholesale distribution (B2B) brands. I was recruited by Dotcom Distribution to oversee IT Operations, onboarding and integrations, client strategy, transportation management, and material handling equipment (MHE). Led Warehouse Management System discovery, selection process, and implementation. Conducted critical to quality business requirement discovery sessions across all work centers for RFP creation and vendor scorecard analysis to be used in WMS final selection process. Functioned as the primary lead in cost control, risk management, project scheduling, and contract negotiation for WMS implementation. Led project team on implementing or migrating of 32 clients onto the new Blue Yonder WMS platform.Optimized and strengthened Dotcom’s infrastructure to create high availability infrastructure . Planned and implemented infrastructure overhaul project providing redundant core network configuration complete with web server load balancing and an always-on high availability environment. The project resulted in improved production uptime, application response time, and greater network security.Formalized and implemented information technology control objectives to ensure compliance with external IT audits, GDPR, and CCPA compliance. Developed and implemented application and network data security control objectives to ensure the safeguarding of Dotcom, client, and consumer Personally Identifiable Information to adhere to external IT audit, GDPR, and CCPA compliance.
