I own and run Edge Impact Consulting Ltd, developing websites from small one page systems to large bespoke database driven websites, allowing clients to add and edit their own website pages.My responsibilities are management, sales, marketing, client requirements, requirement specifications, software development and database design (my love), ensuring Quality Assurance standards are maintained and completed work has met requirements, following up with clients to ensure we have met and exceeded their expectations.My background has been programming, systems analysis and design up to third level systems support, networks, Network Manager, software package development at all stages of the project, and I have worked for large companies in permanent and contract positions.I continue to do coding / programming because I have always enjoyed it immensely, it also keeps me up to date with the constant changes in the field and allows me to ensure high standards of development are maintained. This includes development in PHP, HTML, CSS, ASP, VBScript, JavaScript and MySQL.In the past I have taken over the running of a company, and a department in a large company, and turned them from loss making to very large profit making in a short period of time. My personal goal is to build up a portfolio of investments so I can live a comfortable lifestyle in my retirement, but I have a long way to go... Turnaround management for an idea, project, team, department or company making them the most efficient and profitable area or business. 3. Having designed and developed a product for a client which was marketed worldwide and I understand generated over $12.5 million US. One of the systems we developed for the web has over 40,000 users per month access their site and are taking orders 24/7.Specialties: 1.
