Ken M. Tse, AIA, founding Principal of KMT Architects, has over 35 years of experience and has mastered a diverse range of architectural disciplines and project types. KMT Architects is a Dallas-based collaborative Design Firm, specializing in architecture, interior, and graphics for commercial, multifamily, office, healthcare, institutional, and sustainable design projects. Ken’s past experiences include the role of Vice President and Senior Designer with one of the nation’s largest architectural firms. He was responsible for the design and led design efforts on many large-scale high profile projects totaling over five million square feet throughout the nation and internationally. Ken received his Bachelor of Architecture from Mississippi State University and was recognized as the Alumnus of the Year. Ken is a Registered Architect in the State of Texas and is a LEED Accredited Professional with the U.S. Green Building Council. He is also a member of the American Institute of Architects and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Ken is the President of the Asian American Contractors Association of Texas, a business development and diversity champion, serving the construction community and public entity projects. Beyond architecture, Ken practices the principle of business as a mission, serving as the Executive Director of New Hope Compassion, a nonprofit organization helping with education, life-skills training, and community projects for the disadvantaged locally and internationally. Ken’s current passion is mentoring young people and emerging professionals, equipping, and building up the next generation of leaders.
