I am responsible for creating Professional Billing Training for the largest Epic Community Connect project to date: over 340 clinics are being brought onto the AAH platform during a 3 year rolling Go-Live calendar. In addition to completing 3 complete MST system rebuilds, I am mentoring 2 recently certified FTE Principal Trainers and have credentialed 10 CTs on the material. We have created distinct curriculum and classes for Internal & Third Party Billers, as well as Offshore Billers working from India

Epic Connect Professional Billing Principal Trainer for Mary Free Bed Hospital

Epic Community Connect, Resolute Professional Billing Principal Trainer: Renown Health, Reno Nevada

Project 1: Community Connect Principal Trainer for Resolute Professional Billing, assigned to Carle Foundation Hospital. We are bringing on a 150-Provider/900 employee practice on a shortened timeline.Project 2: HB/PB Principal Trainer for the Richland Hospital integration project within the Carle Foundation Health system. This included Long Term Care, Hospice & Home Health specialty billing modules. In addition, rebuilt and updated Hospital Billing training curriculum, including MST rebuild.Project 3: Professional Billing Principal Trainer, Carle West Professional GroupProject 4: HB/PB Principal Trainer for the BroMenn Medical Center integration project (Bloomington, Illinois) within the Carle Foundation Health system. This will also include Eureka Hospital, Eureka, Illinois.

Serving as Education Program Manager (EPM) for several projects: Community Connect roll-out, an Enterprise SBO implementation and a Double Upgrade to Epic 2019

While a full-time employee with Impact, I was assigned to the following clients:Client 1: Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL (Dual Assignments)Principal Trainer/Instructional Designer, Resolute Professional Billing, Research & Transplant Billing: I assisted with a six-hospital merger, requiring evaluation and integration of multiple Epic workflows into one enterprise system. Workqueue Enhancement Advisor- Hospital Billing & ADT Charge Review/Claim Edit WQs: This assignment was a post 90-day Go-Live re-assignment to evaluate new workflows and monitor workqueues. I identified backlogged WQs and supported staff in re-evaluating workflows and assignments. My efforts resulted in nearly $1 million daily freed into the billing cycle to be processed for claims.Client 2: WellStar Health System, Atlanta, GAAssessment Team Lead that supported an in-depth IT assessment for a large IDN to understand current state in anticipation of an eight hospital merger. I facilitated nearly 100 interviews from C-Suite, Senior IT, Leadership, and medical service line leaders. My role was to collect, catalog and review all critical documentation regarding IT alignment. The project completed when we identified and evaluated permeating IT and Operational team culture, cyber security, organizational processes, and IT & Project governance.Client 3: – Methodist Health System, Dallas, TXPrincipal Trainer/Instructional Designer, Resolute Professional Billing, Cogito & Transplant Billing:I created custom PowerPoint Presentations and Exercise books, complete with practice patients for classroom activities and custom exercise. Worked closely with other Applications to help integrate PB training into their curriculum; trained and credentialed trainers for classes as well as scheduled & assigned staffing at multiple locations. After assuming duties mid-assignment, I was able to successfully complete the software conversion for 100’s of clinics without any loss of revenue.

• Created and implemented state-wide training for Professional Billing on an IT conversion affecting seven hospitals, 240 clinics, and over 18,000 employees• Trained and qualified Credentialed Trainers; supervised and scheduled daily activities; coordinated class scheduling in LMS and assisted with registration• Built all class assessments and maintained electronic records for all classes, students and controlled security access within LMS for PB training• Created Training Surveys for all 18,000 employees to take, making results available to Senior Management to monitor and track issues, receive feedback and establish quality control

I was fortunate to do what many have considered- I changed careers to follow a passion for cooking.• Started as line cook and worked to restaurant General Manager, then Food and Beverage Director for 2000-acre resort and winery• Certified as Corporate Executive Chef in the healthcare industry – managing a staff of 70, serving over 1000 meals per day; managing a multi-million dollar food budget
