Assist customers around the country on their pathway to sustainability via our Direct Efficiency program. This non-regulated offer, under the Duke Energy One brand, provides expertise, project execution, and finance for de-carbonization/energy efficiency, resiliency and electrification projects. Particular recent interest has been in the areas of solar and EV charging but we also have core competencies in backup generation, lighting, central plant improvements, battery storage, and controls.

Team member at Duke Energy working proactively with our mid-sized business customers in Ohio and Kentucky to help them become more energy efficient. Our goal, besides helping our customers save kilowatt hours is to drive the adoption of Duke's Smart $aver incentive program. We also are helping other departments in Duke by cross selling our outdoor lighting services; our Premier Power backup generation services; our PowerShare demand response program; and we are a lead conduit for our Small Business Energy Saver program targeted at our smallest customers.

Oversaw an energy efficiency program Duke Energy brought to market called SmartBuilding Advantage. Targeted to large commercial and institutional building owners, we worked with clients who could save at least 20% on their energy spend. The approach started with an ASHRAE Level III energy assessment effort that uncovered a list of building improvements. This also built the business case on which to base large capital investments for our clients. It resulted in a number of large buildings realizing energy savings of 20% and more and helped Duke realize millions of kWh in impacts.
