The APDCA brings together leading commercial data centre operators in the Asia-Pacific to shape policy pathways and drive informed discussion about the systems and infrastructure needed to build a secure and sustainable digital future.

DPA helps tech SMEs engage on important policy issues in the region, providing platforms for SMEs to voice out concerns and their needs to policymakers, and contributing towards economic growth in the region.

• I analyzed and framed global tech regulatory developments for apex leaders in MCI and IMDA. • I collaborated with other teams to help craft tech policies and regulations for Singapore in response to crucial issues in the tech world. • I represented the Infocomm Policy team for external matters, such as providing inputs and comments to MoUs, agreements, and trade pacts with foreign counterparts.

• I help clients - businesses, multi-lateral organisations, governments - make sense of tech and tech-related policies in Asia. My efforts help bolster the understanding of tech issues and facilitate the creation of optimised regulations for the digital age.• I craft thought leadership pieces, policy positions and consultation responses for influential entities, leveraging my policy and technical expertise to frame issues, make recommendations, and execute engagements.• I contribute my subject-matter expertise to various traditional, new and emerging digital topics for internal and client projects. Examples include data policies, the Metaverse, 5G, gaming/gambling, AI, cloud computing, antitrust, blockchain, DNS, networking, Internet governance, etc.

• I participate in and monitor regional discussions for various topics for clients, e.g.spectrum, Internet governance, digital development, etc. Also, I speak with governments to provide interventions on specific and key issues, shaping tech policies to help clients with their regulatory concerns. • I monitor key regulatory developments in Asia and I guide tech firms to respond effectively tothese regulations. Regulations span themes such as cybersecurity, data protection, spectrum,data privacy, market access, etc. I also help clients craft these regulatory responses by leveraging my technical knowledge. • I work closely with businesses in the tech sector to develop thought leadership andengagement strategies to shape tech policies in Asia. For example, I was the penholder for a reportthat guided policymakers in best practices for their operational technology cybersecurityregime. This report was co-authored with the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) andlaunched at the Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW) 2020.

• Conducted research and advised senior executives and staff on various technological and political developments in their engagement with key stakeholders. Themes include cyber-stability, 5G, and domain-related issues.• Implemented the Asia Pacific Internet Governance Academy (APIGA) in 2018 and 2019. During which, APIGA's success increased; about 1 in 4 youths continued participation in Internet governance activities.• Represented ICANN in engaging APAC stakeholders (e.g. governmental, civil society and private sector stakeholders) in Japan, Taiwan, South Korea and Vanuatu. Implemented and staffed engagement events such as closed-door meetings, webinars, forums, and workshops.• Designed, managed and executed the APAC GSE team's quarterly data collection which helped steer ICANN's APAC engagement strategy. This also allowed the team to identify prominent stakeholders in the ICANN APAC community.• Developed expertise on various Internet and Internet governance themes, and engaged stakeholders on the themes. Examples of the themes are DNS, DNS abuse, privacy, cybersecurity, access, and the multistakeholder approach to Internet governance.

• Developed ICT and telecommunication research papers for various international organizations, large multinational corporates, and governments. Also, developed and maintained a tracker for 5G developments, which helped keep TRPC updated and informed of 5G developments in key economies.• Analyzed technology and telecommunication policies in the Asia Pacific region, e.g. 5G, IoT, blockchain, cloud computing, data localization, and cross-border data flows. Specialized in Japan and South Korea's policies.• Shaped and improved internal work processes by integrating technology and software to boost productivity.

Coached NTU students on written and verbal communication skills.

• Organized, planned and coordinated outreach and engagement initiatives with stakeholders from across the Asia Pacific region.• Organized the inaugural Asia Pacific Internet Governance Academy 2016 (APIGA 2016) in collaboration with the government of South Korea and other partner organizations from the region.• Conducted research analysis on Asia Pacific regional developments and their strategic relation to ICANN.

A social enterprise that allows visitors to step into the shoes of the visually impaired, Dialogue in the Dark Singapore employs the visually impaired as guides in a pitch dark exhibition, while the facility is mainly run by student interns who take charge of its functioning. Promoted the organisation to public and corporate clients, as well as engaged visitors by teaching them about various visual impairments and by sharing organisational values of inclusion.
