As a professional painter, I was responsible for communicating with clients to determine their painting requests, as well as doing cost quotes and estimates, and assisting them with making decisions regarding the style they wanted. On a typical day, I would set up a job site by covering trim, floors, furniture, and other surfaces to keep them free of paint, preparing surfaces to be painted by washing them, filling holes and cracks, and sanding. I would then work with the customer to be sure the job was exactly what they wanted and finalize the job by receiving payment. I trained multiple people on correct techniques and at times supervised a team of 4.

Responsible for picking up and delivering packages at homes and businesses on my assigned delivery route. Operated the route efficiently to ensure that the scheduled pick-ups and deliveries for the day are completed as intended, and managed time well. Maintained a good relationship with the customers on my route, and was able to answer questions about package shipping methods that I encountered, building sales on the route. Trained multiple new couriers on several routes.

Responsible for supporting the Management Team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, responsible for a group of Package Handlers, and ensured an efficient warehouse operation. Provided line management to the team by coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the customer. Developed the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, whilst fostering a culture of working safely.
