After being highly involved in campus life and academics at Widener University, I sought to work with people. I worked adolescent psychiatry, data entry at the county jail, dementia care, and was a teaching assistant for early education. I also performed many small jobs, such as martial arts instruction, kickboxing instruction, tutoring, nannying, small shop assistance, and kennel care. Each field, big or small, was challenging but rewarding in its own unique way. Though I spend my working hours assisting people (and animals!), I spend my off hours indulging in solitary creative pursuits such as drawing, crafting, and jewelry making.
