I support animation students to bridge the gap between school and industry. I build a collaborative and nurturing environment through which passionate young professionals can take their love of animation and further hone their talents on animation shorts directed at the festival circuit.

I consult theatre and dance artists on enhancing stories and increasing production value through multimedia design. When demanded by the story, I design and produce animation from visual development through animation and rendering. I guide documentary projects from script development through on-site filming, b-roll capture, and post-production. I consult researchers and interviewers on crafting interview questions. I schedule interviews with senior executives, artistic directors, artists, and crew. I collaborate with production team members on lighting, audio, and camera operation. A writer-centered workshop hosted on the campus of UC Irvine. The workshop is open to the entire Irvine community, and focuses on providing script development strategies and feedback for community members seeking outlets for their creative voices.I guide writers as they develop original scripts for animation and multimedia live performance. I co-produced three original comedy skits which complemented UC Irvine outreach events associated with the 2020 Census. I coordinate media content for social media publicity campaigns.

An academic professional (50% teaching/50% service) position for the UGA Dramatic Media MFA program. The Dramatic Media program provides the technical and artistic skills necessary to create computer-generated animation, live stage production incorporating interactive media, and special digital effects in film-making.Teaching: I designed and taught UGA's first 2D animation class focused on Toon Boom Harmony's cut-out workflow. Rubrics were heavily weighted towards students' personal creativity and storytelling strengths. I assisted Film Studies faculty for large film appreciation survey classes.Service: I produced 6 multimedia live events by leading a team of MFA animation students from visual development through rigging, animation, and delivery. I facilitated communication between Dramatic Media and traditional theatre departments, such as lighting, scenic, and costume. Notable Productions:Always (K)new (2017) - An international multimedia theatre event, which collected LGBQT community stories from Brazil, Columbia, and the U.S. I collaborated with Brazilian choreographer/director Alberto Tibaji as media designer. I led a 5-person animation team through production of 8 2D animations (Harmony and After Effects) and 1 interactive media installation (Max MSP).The Rosetta Project (2018) - An interactive multimedia installation in which performers in motion capture suits controlled live-rendered CG avatars. I led Research and Development as 7 MFA students as they developed live motion capture systems incorporated Perception Neuron mocap suits and the Unity game engine. I led visual development for Maya-based 3D show.

Event Management and Room Reservations at the UGA Dept. of Theatre and Film Studies.Event Management: I served as a production assistant on rental events using three UGA performance spaces. I would schedule and receive deliveries from outside vendors. I provided light and scenic load-in based on client-provided light plots and ground plots. I provided IT support for guest lectures, conferences, and symposiums, such as the George Tabori and the Theatre of the Holocaust conference (2015).Room Reservations: I designed and implemented room reservation system for a university performing arts venue, allowing 22 faculty, 40 graduate students, and 100 undergraduate students access to conference rooms, rehearsal space, and stock inventory.

I supported theatrical storytelling by worldbuilding through sound design. My design philosophy was that sound is akin to lighting and color palette design in that sound is uniquely situated to highlight the mood and tone of a show.I have engineered dialogue recordings in studio and through on-site field recordings. I have built original SFXs through manipulation of both stock sound files and original field recordings. I am experienced with ProTools, Logic Pro, Fairlight, and Adobe Audition.

I supported collaborative storytelling as a theatre technicians, in such positions as Technical Director, Lighting and Scenic Designer, Master Carpenter, Turnaround Crew, and Running Crew. My guiding principle in all roles was to serve the story while providing actors and crew a safe rehearsal and performance space.

My governing principle was to provide a smooth and distraction-free creative environment in which artists could leverage the strength of their collaborators to best serve the story.I facilitated communication between directors, producers, and design departments by leading production meetings. I created rehearsal schedules and held actors accountable for call times. I recorded detailed rehearsal notes for distribution to cast, designers, and relevant department heads.I developed warm-up and character development exercises along with organizing cast bonding events.
