Assistant Mental Health Clinician
Current•Provides direct and indirect mental health services in outpatient clinics, diverse community agencies, and groups.•Serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating to handle scheduled and unscheduled clients.•Builds supportive and trusting relationships with mental health clientele through individual and group counseling, teaching social skills, and supervising socialization groups and recreational activities.•Supervises the overall functioning and presentation of patients in caseload, performs state-compliant notation of each client, and implements case plans through individual and group therapy.•Participates in client and program conferences with other mental health staff.•Assists in developing and coordinating volunteer programs and provides training to volunteers.•Collaborate with surrounding community organizations to provide necessary resources such as housing aid, food services and programs, familial support, and psychosocial education tailored to overall wellness
