In November of 2024 Kenne began a new adventure as the Owner/Operator of Sparks Cooperative LLC. Here Kenne's intent is to focus on business to business consulting in business communications and digital media. With a focus in communications and training, Sparks Cooperative mixes project management and creative analysis to enhance your existing team. Prior to starting Sparks Cooperative LLC, Kenne served as The Program Director at the Presbyterian Church USA's (PCUSA) Montgomery Camp & Conference Center. Here, Kenne coordinated all things summer camp, from hiring and training summer staff to curriculum development to serving as camp pastor. Additionally, Kenne focused on Event Management with various community partners, shared ministry with PCUSA churches and youth leaders in the Presbytery of St. Augustine. Staffing facilitators for various onsite activities included challenge courses, lifeguards, archery instructors, banquet staff and kitchen staff.Before coming to Montgomery, Kenne served as Office Manager and Coordinator for Youth and Collegiate Ministries for the Central Florida Presbytery for three years. He supported 68 churches and Youth Workers in the Central Florida Presbytery, managed events for Presbytery-wide youth events, hosted an annual collegiate ministries trip to North Carolina to attend Montreat Camp and Conference Center's College Conference, and equipped youth leaders within the Presbytery. In addition, Kenne added his experiences in Project management and Event Management to this role, assisting with quarterly meetings of the Presbytery, handling registration, guest relations, database management, and other projects assigned by the Executive Presbyter and Stated Clerk.Kenne served on the U.S. Army SETA and SETA II contracts for the Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), supporting the International Programs Office as a Project Coordinator/Subject Matter Expert from 2011-2022.My primary focus over the last 15 has been on Project Management as it relates to cost, schedule, and performance. A bulk of that time was spent at PEO STRI writing international agreements representing contracts ranging from $50Kto $10M+ totaling approximately $200 million annually. I also directly supported the Director of International Programs at PEO STRI in an operations focus, assisting with reporting, presentations, policy tracking, and manpower studies.With a strong work ethic, I believe honest communication, continual process improvement, and trust in teammates sets the path for tomorrow’s success.
