My love of technology was born, when I was a teenager in High School, taking a Microsoft Word 97 class. I remember working hot summers and cold winters to save up enough money to buy my first computer. My father drove me to our local bank so I could have a cashier's check printed for the sum of my new "toy". We drove to Memphis, TN the same day so I could make the purchase. I walked into the Gateway computer store, introduced myself to the salesman, shook his hand, and handed him my cashier's check. I was 16 years old at the time and the look on the man's face was priceless when he looked at the check. My youthful exuberance for technology sustains me today and has been the driving force of my 17 year I.T. Professional career.
