Kenneth qualified as an accountant in 1991 & is a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants. After serving for a while as a senior auditor with KPMG, Kenneth joined Island Hotels Group in 1992. Over the years, his career progressed as the Group developed and he was instrumental in guiding the organisation to successful listing of the Group’s equity and a bond on the Malta Stock Exchange in 2009, when he was appointed as the Group’s CFO and Company Secretary. In 2020, Kenneth joined Dizz Group as Chief Financial Officer. In early 2021, he also assumed the plc Secretarial roles of the Dizz Group. Having served as both Group CFO and Group Company Secretary in other publicly listed entities, Kenneth has gained extensive experience in both roles, which complement each other naturally. Besides co-ordinating and monitoring the finance function within the Group, Kenneth is also responsible for external dealings with all regulatory bodies and fiscal authorities, including the Malta Financial Services Authority, the Malta Business Registry, the Commissioner for Revenue and the Malta Stock Exchange. He is also responsible for dealings with Banks, the Board of Directors, Group Auditors and other Financial Institutions. He also overseas all the Group’s Investment Appraisals making relevant recommendations to the Board as necessary. In 2019, Kenneth was approached by the Malta Institute of Accountants to form part of The Professional Accountant in Business Committee on a voluntary basis. This Committee is responsible for identifying the needs of the professional accountant in business and to ensure that their perspective is taken into account in the decision-making process of the Institute through actively supporting the MIA’s CPE activities. Kenneth has been very actively involved in this committee and his appointment was renewed in early 2022 for a further two years.

Attendance to Board Meetings and reporting thereof. Co-ordination of all secretarial duties and filings with Commissioner of Inland revenue and Financial Services Authority
