Twenty-five years of utility related experenice working either as a consultant or for a regulatory commission. Experience includes transmission planning, contract negotiations, rates, bond financings and load forecasting. Also managed (as a consultant under contract) clients' rates, scheduling and finance departments. Served as the acting Deputy and Executive Director for a state power agency and filled the responsibilities of the Assistant Manager for a large public utility. Current activities include chairing two transmission planning committees, acting as project manager for a proposed 500/230 kV transmission project, providing technical consulting in CEQA/NEPA project reviews, assisting renewable generation entities with the LGIA and transmission service process, representing the power interest of a state water authority with over 500 MW of pumping load, and providing general consulting services to an electric distribution cooperative.Specialties: Regional transmission planning, project management, contract negotiations, rates, bond financing and NERC/WECC compliance.
