• Working closely with design team and subcontractors on a 19-elevator modernization project at Balboa Naval Medical center.• Oversee elevator subcontractor to ensure modernization of 19 elevators are compliant to the most current ASME 17.1 codes.• Maintain safety program in compliance with EM 385-1-1 for government/military projects.

• Complete detailed surveys for minor and major repairs of elevator and escalator components.• Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly safety meetings and record completions. Safety agenda based on the most current Elevator Industry Field Employees Safety Handbook and OSHA requirements. • Complete company safety trainer training to be authorized to teach weekly, monthly, and quarterly safety training.• Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly safety audits that consist of evaluating employee’s ability to perform their work with the safety rules being followed. Also evaluating there ability to use the correct PPE and ensure they have it at all times.• Compile reports and grade each individual employee on how they performed their work safely.• Based on individual evaluations, compile safety training for employees that need more education in certain areas of their work and maintaining safe work practices.• Review and approve all JHA’s and AHA’s for all work being performed in service and repair departments. • Evaluate and authorize all Re-roping surveys for safety requirements such as rigging requirements/ certification dates, Lock Out Tag out procedures, working around live equipment, and checking test dates for specific elevator related safety equipment.• Work closely with engineers and manufactures to ensure proper repair and installation methods for various types of equipment.• Perform budget management tasks such as monitoring company performance against estimates and monitoring labor and material.• Support the local sales team on contractual obligations and ensuring maximization of all billable opportunities.• Monitor and approve payroll daily to ensure correct charges for billable and non-billable work. • Promote consistent motivation by creating a positive coaching environment. • Monitor dispatch for calls coming in to ensure we respond in the contractually obligated time frame.
