Working with a cross functional team of engineers, analysts and technical specialists; I am assisting in the development of the electrical distribution system (EDS) architecture for Fords new line of electric vehicles. Working specifically in the instrument/console environment.

3D CAD Wire Harness Designer - Working with EDS Design & Release Engineers created 3D packages for wire harnesses for engine compartment, instrument panel, body and frame areas of the car or truck. Attended prototype build phases to insure that 3D CAD wire harness reflected accurately.

Primary Designer - Led a group 6-8 designers that conducted package studies for Chassis and Suspension components. i.e. steering linkages, stabilizer bars, shocks, steering gears, wheels and tire.

Assembly Plant Resident - EDS Design & Release Engineer. Implemented any on going product development improvements/changes to current model year vehicle.

Conducted root cause analysis on electrical distribution system components. i.e. wire harness components such as connectors, retainers, relays and shields.

First job I had after Graduation from Michigan State University. Started as a management trainee, while working under plant engineering.
