I am a Regional Center for Workforce Transformation Lead. We work with wheelchair users, people with intellectual disabilities and other support staff. During my time as a regional lead, I have attended meetings, lead meetings, and created trainings as well as help Self-Advocate-Leads with trainings etc.I started out as a Self Advocate Lead, and then became a lead. It is our goal to work with workforce champions, advocates in the disability community, and other workforce providers to create a welcoming and safe community to foster positive communication, and institute a positive culture when working with colleagues.In the past, I have also studied abroad writing a blog for CAPA International Study Abroad Experience also now known as CEA, during my time documenting what it was like as a wheelchair user studying in London, Paris, (visiting the hall of mirrors as well as Marie Antoinette's palace and gardens), and taking a family vacation to Spain and visiting iconic locations such as Sagrata Famila, and the overall surrounding area.
