I have over three decades of wildlife research and monitoring experience, mostly with birds. I have worked for government agencies, academic institutions, nonprofit organizations, indigenous tribes, and consulting firms. I am proficient in a wide variety of field techniques, including point counts and banding. I am an excellent writer with an extensive publication record including three books. I have strong project planning, budgeting, and management skills. I am also a naturalist, guide, interpreter, and photographer with considerable public speaking and teaching experience.
