Alexandria / Paris, - 28/28 Rotational Schedule - (Oct 2016 – July 2017)I was responsible for the management of the location team performing in Country Operations, Site Reception Testing, Equipment Preparation and pre-deployment testing for offshore operations of Subsea Production Equipment including Xmas Trees, Tubing Hangers, Intervention System, Controls, HIPPS, ROV Tooling, Connectors, Jumpers and Umbilical related equipment.

I was responsible for the Project Management and delivery of 4 sets of Subsea Landing String Systems with associated Electro-Hydraulic Control Systems and ancillary equipment, in 18 months, for TOTAL’s Kaombo Project, in Block 32, offshore Angola. As the Program Manager I was the focal point between the Client Engineering Teams in Pau (France) the Client Operational Team in Angola and the Schlumberger Engineering Team in Houston, USA plus the Schlumberger Operational Team in Angola. I ensured equipment assets worldwide were kept in serviceable condition or scrapped where applicable. I managed the existing worldwide asset fleet to ensure that the equipment was compliant with Company and Segment standards and were properly allocated to meet the needs of the Field Organisation. Regular liaising with Area Business Development Managers, Location Operations Managers and Quality (Planning) Managers for activity forecasting and strategic planning to ensure transfer of equipment occurred in a timely manner to meet project requirements• Responsible for Strategic CAPEX Planning and Field Orders (Multi-Million$) ensuring they were in line with Segment guidelines for equipment rationalization, and quantities ordered from Product Center’s were adequate for ongoing and future business needs, within the segment CAPEX budget. • Reviewing Service Quality issues, taking a leadership role in the failure review process and ensuring remedial work plans and actions were completed.• Approval and monitoring of the Modification Recaps and Field Change Order implementation to existing field equipment.• Monitoring and ensuring the Fixed Asset lists are current and accurate.

I was responsible for delivery of 2 conventional dual bore trees, flow bases and associated subsea equipment for Shell's Mallard Project in the UK sector of the North Sea. I was also responsible for part of the high temperature test program for specific interfaces.• Liaising with the customer on all project technical matters.• Ensuring all designs are fit for purpose and meet all statutory requirements.• Fulfilling Engineering duties on products including specification, design release for purchasing, build and test supervision documentation and reporting progress to the relevant Project Manager.• Acting as technical leader as required.• Writing and checking of Factory Acceptance Test procedures for various sub system assemblies.I transferred to the Subsea Project Department from R&D group, initially seconded to the Amoco Arkwright Subsea Horizontal Tree Project. After gaining the required sea service time, I sat and passed the Department of Transport 4th Engineers Watch Keeping Certificate, enabling me to be responsible for an engine room on a motorship or steamship.
