Maintenance & Operation● Recruit and mentor the submarine cable operation team, Senior expert of CT headquarter.● Supervise preventive measures and optimization plans for submarine cables.● Coordinate with NOC, RC and MAs among various consortiums, to optimize repair activities base on regional circumstances.● Collaborate with NOC and external carriers, identify critical issues and implement ad-hoc traffic restoration.● Establish and review internal maintenance activities, operation procedures, and system configurations.● Supervise Hong Kong CLS and SJC Segment L2 maintenance and operation.● Develop and optimize integrated submarine cable resource management systems.● Evaluate and analyze subsea cable capacity utilization and inventory.● Communicate with management and stakeholders, provide up-to- date information and create resolution plans and strategies.● Liaise and collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, contractors and government organizations.● Work with cross-functional teams, including pre-sales team, solution team, product team, carrier team, finance team, legal & tax team, PMs and headquarters.Budget Management● Supervise annual budgets for subsea cable operations and maintenance activities, including SJC Segment L2, Hong Kong, Chongming, Shantou and Fujian CLS.● Oversee budget of guard boat and cable protection in China TW.● Coordinate submarine cable O&M payment and reimbursement between consortium CBP and internal finance department.Consortium Responsibilities● Attend maintenance zone & consortium meetings.● MA and RLO of all invested submarine cables.● MC representative of the maintenance zone.● AR&R chairman of TPE, APG & NCP.● O&M Chairman of TPE.● Oversee Network Administrator duties of NCP, APG & APCN2.● Supervise FASTER CBP liaison duties.Perform ad-hoc tasks from the management.24/7 on-call stand-by.
