Kenneth H. Cox began his real estate career at Storage USA in the business development arena where he spent 8 years in various roles as an acquisitions, dispositions and development officer. In the course of his tenure at Storage USA, Mr. Cox played a key role in self-storage transactions totaling more than 900 million including a 90 million joint venture with GE Capital Real Estate. In addition to his business development responsibilities, Mr. Cox served on various leadership committees within Storage USA to improve critical functions within the organization.As a member and Senior Vice President of Jernigan Property Group, LLC, Mr. Cox managed real estate activities in a joint venture with Kimco Reality. The joint venture acquired 70 million in self-storage assets which later sold to U-Stor-IT (YSI). Mr. Cox most recently was the general partner in several partnerships focused on acquiring and operating self-storage assets. His experience as a principal in self storage acquisition and disposition enhances his ability to maximize clients’ profitability in such transactions.
