It Epic Coordinator
CurrentCollaborate with the Epic Project Team in the development, implementation, testing and training for Epic’s Radiant and Cupid modules, along with system upgrades for all related systems. Lead analyst on the Radiant Team. Work closely with project managers, technical staff and other team members to coordinate schedules, workflows, problem-solving, user training/support and other facets.* Facilitate data integrity and HIPAA compliance by merging, resolving duplicates and archiving digital records of patients, exams and diagnoses in the Picture Archiving & Communication System (PACS).* Provide support, guidance and subject matter expertise to radiologists, technologists and other staff for all areas of data integration, architectures, electronic records, clinical systems implementation, etc.* Perform critical analysis of workflow, billing, patient documentation and other data to facilitate effective data migration to the new system across multiple campus buildings.* Set up user security access, configure templates (scheduling, referrals, etc.) and collaborate with the Radiant Trainer to provide user training in all facets of Epic Radiant, PACS and Nuance Powerscribe.* Partner with system decision-making groups to determine best practices concerning evidence-based workflows, order sets, forms, decision support and other tools.* Address Epic downtime/outages by setting up Business Continuity Connect to facilitate consistent and uninterrupted user access, patient care and business operations.* Plan, coordinate and support multiple system upgrades and testing each year for ClickView, Vitrea, Segami Oasis, Hologic, Imalogic, Change Healthcare PACS and Nuance Powerscribe:- Upgraded Change Healthcare PACS from MR12 to 14.1- Upgraded Nuance Powerscribe from PS360 to PS1
