For 20 years, I have worked at making the complex understandable. I’m always lookingfor solutions that embrace the current state of art all the while keeping costs in mind. Myfocus has always been finding the best solutions for my clients no matter how large,complex or constraining the issue was, be it technical, regulatory or budget.I also have an intuitive sense of how water moves and behaves which allows me toget a solution rapidly even in complex systems, this has manifested itself in many ways,like inventing a new type of energy dissaptor while working as a lab technician.From Drainage Master Plans, to dam breach analysis, to conducting forensic soilanalysis and aquifer sustainability studies, I have worked in many parts of the hydrologiccycle, each with their own unique sets of challenges and issues and I’ve enjoyed themall.One of the areas that brings me great joy is teaching and training the youngengineers in how to problem solve, passing on the knowledge I gained from working withexperts in many fields. I was fortunate to be part of the team that updated the DrainageDesign manual for NM DOT which allowed me to help lots of engineers far into thefuture.I look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of water resources to betterserve my clients and fellow engineers.
