.NET Developero Modified SharePoint User Controls, WCF Services, Data Access Layer.▪ MSChart control used to render 3 year history of 18 Criteria.▪ Modified JQuery code to make application load much faster.▪ Converted much of the hard-coding to external sources - SQL Server tables and web.config generic Dictionary entries.▪ Modified JQuery screen to beautify and add additional elements used to email to recipients defined in web.config.▪ Wrote Data Access Layer instead of WCF Service to call stored procedures to acquire the number of “Fiscals Transmitted Council Count” / “Total Council Count”. o Modified SQLServer 2008 R2 table structures to reduce response time.o Created new SSIS Package to load, from flat files, to SQL Server tables. March 2002 to July 2009: Home Depot – Atlanta, Georgia SQL Developer• Built a new SSIS 2008 package to load a datamart for the Well Header system from OLEDB sources via linked servers and SQL Server sources. SSIS was used with checkpoints in order to restart packages automatically (via SQL Agent Job) at the correct spot. Stored Procedures were built and RAISERROR was used to signal to SSIS when an even failed. This tied into the SSIS package restart. Precedence constraints were triggered inside the SSIS package via the stored procedure results. Additionally, full audit trail of all events inside the SSIS package and Stored Procedures both successful and failed were written to three SQL Server 2008 tables via a single call to a stored procedure which loaded the Audit, Error, and Rowcount tables as determined by passed parameters. A “Staging” design was used to reduce a one hour and 15 minute outage on the primary database availability down to two minutes! This enabled the client to schedule this ETL process multiple times during the day instead of once at night.• Built a new SSIS 2008 package to load the Daily Production datamart with data from OLEDB sources and provide audit trails and package restart identical to the package listed above. This particular new design resulted in a database outage reduction from 32 minutes to 52 seconds! This allowed the client to execute the package 4 times a day instead of once at night.• Analyzing SSIS 2008 packages for modifications and enhancements, including but not limited to, error trapping, checkpoints and auditing.• Using SSMS 2008 for analyzing and repairing SQL Server 2008 Stored Procedures and User Defined Functions. Building new Stored Procedures and User Defined Functions.• Analyzing entire SQL Server 2008 Data Mart for improvements and new tables and advising on direction to take.• Building Logic Flow and Data Model of the Data Mart using Visio to present to senior management and the tech group.
