I began my law enforcement training in February 1997 when I was hired as a State Trooper by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. In my capacity as a State Trooper I worked under direct supervision and gained considerable knowledge of law enforcement methods, procedures, traffic safety practices while enforcing traffic and criminal laws. Additionally, as a State Trooper I promote traffic safety while investigating both vehicle and small aircraft accidents, and other criminal incidents within my statutory jurisdiction. During my tenure I was appointed to the State Patrol’s Criminal Interdiction Teams and worked extensively with the DEA and ICE in Columbus,OH. This experience awarded me the opportunity to prosecute case in both the State and Federal Court System. In February 2005 I left the State Patrol and pursued an opportunity in the private sector in Chicago, IL. While employed with the International Group as the Northeast Corporate Security Manager; I became a CFE. During my employment I was tasked with investigating complex internal fraud investigations and managing a team of Financial Auditors. In October 2006 I returned my employment with the State of Ohio as Special Agent in Charge (SAC) for the BWC Southwest Investigations. In this capacity I supervise four special investigations unit comprised of fraud investigators and analysts overseeing investigations involving intentional violations of the law.
