Responsible for assigned Distribution Centers for all credit issues and for reviewing orders on credit hold. Also in charge of releasing orders within the parameters of the Credit Policies and Procedures, contacting Distribution Centers and customers in the establishment of new accounts. Also, assisting Regional Credit Manager in monitoring accounts for potential problems. Assists the Regional Credit Manager in collections activity for assigned Distribution Centers, follows up on all information requested or required that would impact the credit decision-making process, and pulling credit files on accounts that exceed credit limit for review by the Regional Credit Manager. Aids the Regional Credit Manager to maintain up to date account information, which include: financial statements, security, and trade information.

Responsible for collecting and maintaining current credit information on customers. Works with customer on a daily basis while making multiple outbound telephone calls. Collaborates with Sales and Marketing Department to determine payment terms and settle any customer disagreements. Maintains balances in the department's ledger accounts and accounts receivable aging. Performs month-end and year-end closing activities, which include calculating and reporting. Manages customer disbursements and reviews accounts that require legal attention to provide the proper follow-up to management.
