Responsible for the management of one the largest and most prestigious dermatology specialty practices in New York City. Led staff of 40 employees, including 11 physicians. Developed business plans and strategies that resulted in significant growth and cost reductions to increase practice revenue. Handled day-to-day administrative responsibilities -- physician and staff payroll, vendor relations, hiring/training/scheduling, customer service issues and budgets. Partnered with founder/medical director to ensure physician, patient and business needs are exceeded.

Led the Recruitment & Employment Services Division, including Immigration. Directed recruitment for the medical college in NYC with 7,500 employees. Partnered with Administrators and Chairs to understand their practice specialties (including Dermatology, Neurosurgery, Urology and General Medicine), vision and talent requirements. Managed background investigations and file upkeep to ensure annual certification for the New York City Radioactive Materials License through the Division of Environmental Health, Office of Radiological Health. Responsible for recruitment metrics reports to track progress of recruitment. Spearheaded the development of customized recruitment program integrating with the HRIS system to scan and track applicants. Worked closely with Labor Relations, Compensation, Benefits and Training & Development.

Directed the recruitment process for a hospital system in New York City that comprised five historically distinguished hospitals with 17,000 employees and over 3,100 beds. Created strategic recruitment plans to assure effective and consistent procurement of new talent. Represented hospital at all weekly Labor/Management meetings held with various bargaining agreement organizers, delegates and employees to research and resolve and labor issues in advance. Managed large hospital closure that required the placement of approximately 3,500 workers. Analyzed/planned the placement of 83% of the displaced workers into new positions, fulfilled collective bargaining agreements and assured the smooth transition of staff.

Managed all human resources activities for a 500 bed skilled nursing home facility with a wide variety of community-based programs. Consulted with management and staff on HR matters. Developed and implemented personnel policies and procedures. Developed job descriptions and evaluation forms. Ensured the nursing home was in compliance with OSHA and ADA regulations. Scheduled staff for in-services and required certification programs.
