Ken Harmon is Territory Manager & Director of Engineering Resources for STALITE Lightweight Aggregate Company. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Georgia and is a member of ACI, ASCE and is Chairman of the Expanded Shale, Clay and Slate Institute (ESCSI) Structural Committee. Ken was the Concrete Promotion Engineer for the Georgia Concrete & Products Association from 1987 – 1993, and was a bridge design engineer in the HNTB Atlanta Office 1979 – 1987. He has authored papers for numerous conferences and symposiums including ACI, PCI, CANMET/ACI, ECI, etc.

Supervised National Sales/Technical Services staff, Sales Administrative staff, Transportation Department, Quality Control Department, Research and Development activities, and all marketing and promotion activities. These activities include:• Led and directed sales staff to prospect new customers and service existing customer accounts – Included significant time traveling with sales staff and meeting with customers• Established product pricing strategies• Managed Accounts Receivable Program • Participated in the development of software for the Stalite Quotes and Orders System and continue to oversee updates and refinements• Called on engineers, architects, and specifiers to promote the benefits and applications of lightweight aggregate and lightweight concrete• Designed technical literature and marketing brochures as well as exhibit booths and displays for national industry trade shows• Represented Stalite at numerous industry trade shows• Oversaw company website development and maintenance • Published and presented papers at national and international seminars and symposiums
