During my time at Activision my responsibilities as a Senior Quality Assurance Tester included leading teams of over fifty testers. To ensure maximum efficiency within my team I would start each day with thirty to forty-five minutes of dedicated pointed Ad-Hoc testing. Each tester would have an assigned testing area at the start of each week to give them enough time to become familiar with an area, while also exposing them to all parts of the game. During this time I would meet with the project leads and any developer points of contact and receive my team's goals.  I would then relay this information to the team, and form them into groups to ensure that all goals would be met. Using the programs JIRA and Devtrack I would monitor my individual team members metrics on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure that my team was not only hitting their required bug quotas, but that they were also growing as testers. I challenged each tester to have their own individualized goals and not only achieve the standard office wide minimum. If any tester was falling behind I would engage with them one on one and establish a plan to get them back on track. Testers would be placed in groups to ensure maximum efficiency however, groups would also routinely be mixed up to foster individual and team growth. The Microsoft Suite was the primary way that I would provide and update documentation for my team. At the start of a project I would gather any documentation provided by the developers and producers and organize it into a Onenote. Once I felt the expectations of the project were clearly set I would share the Onenote with all members of my team. Throughout the life of the project I would update and add new documentation to this Onenote. I strived to have open conversations within the team. I encouraged that if any members of my team believe there should be changes made to the Onenote to bring it to my attention. I worked on and shipped multiple titles including, “Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019)”, “Call of Duty Warzone”, and “Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War”. This process would routinely require overtime and weekend work to guarantee that the projects were able to go live. Working closely with project managers, I would direct members of my team to help other teams achieve their goals when necessary. My teams were also involved in the switch from in office work to work from home due to Covid-19. Myself and other senior members of staff collaborated on various operations structures to make that transition as seamless as possible.
