In the past few years, I've been able to balance part-time jobs with my education quite well, being able to serve as a waiter, a delivery driver, and a movie theater employee during High School while earning a 4.0+ GPA. In college, I managed to have summer jobs as a cashier and in customer service, while working on-campus as a barista, in food services, journalist, Teaching Assistant, overnight host for prospective students, and in Student Government, while pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in English and Psychology.In the future, I hope to have a career that will have a lasting impact on the world around me, alleviating social ills such as poverty, homelessness, food insecurity, addiction, and insufficient health care. I don't know if this will take the form of pursuing law, politics, or a non-profit, but this is where my heart lies. For the time being, I hope to start a career relating to education or law, and am hoping to find a job after finishing my undergrad that will help me to save money for a graduate school degree in Law and/or higher academia. I love complicated problems that require intense analysis, intricate untangling and problem-solving, communicating ideas with groups of people, and work that requires me to use specific skills and analysis. I also thoroughly enjoy working in a group setting, and attempting to build community where I am :)
