When not taking care of the day to day business of the education of Ships Assistants, I do my utmost to make sure that MARTEC evolves as a leader in MARITIME and OFFSHORE safety education. During my time at MARTEC I have build the base to a successful Course Department. During my time as Head of the Course Department the turnover has increased ten fold. The skills of the instructors, the update of facilities and my ability to read the Course Market have attracted customers, and given the success we feed of today.This is the base, in the years to come I will push to expand the range of courses, setting the trend as market leader on state of the art equipment, variety of courses and happy clients.

I was IT specialist in the LOADSTAR department, gathering technical information on New Buildings and feeding them into LOADSTAR. Furthermore I was "the first line off defense" from Navigators misusing the program, as I was the online helpdesk of LOADSTAR.

The prime focus of the job was to plan the cargo on Mærsk Lines container vessels on the Europe-Fareast string. After the merger with P&O Nedlloyd I was transferred to the North America - Europe strings, working in different timeszones.We test stowed different vessels to different ports, along with the operations and equipment department.

I was employed as instructor in basic training at the school for danish maritime basic training.

In a period of 4 years I held the postions of 2nd, 1st and Chief Officer on the Mærsk Line container vessels. I had two dockings and one newbuilding during the period, as well as one 17 week trip as Cadet Training Officer on Eli Mærsk (VLCC)
