Terminal Safety Coordinator for 13 years. Plans, coordinates and anally conducts and leads 65 corporate assigned training topics and 69 Site Specific Operational Procedures with all employees & lead both classroom oriented and individual/group computer based training. Uses available resources to create Training & testing materials and documentation. In charge of completion and documentation of all terminal safety certifications, permits, security & maintenance inspections. Plans, executes and supervises all operations for a 14 acre bulk liquid storage facility that houses to 136 storage tanks ranging in size from 358 - 55,000 barrels in size and associated piping, pumps and equipment for 16 different customers and 36 various food grade products & chemicals. Coordinates and supervises all product movements both into and out of the terminal by truck, rail car or seagoing vessel to include bill of lading, order production and inventory accountability to include tank to tank transfers. Supervises all process management operations. Works in compliance with air, water & sound permits and works with federal, state and local agencies during spot inspections, audits and quarterly compliance inspections as well as unannounced and annual drills. Participates in Self Improvement Program Audits & overall responsible for the terminals maintenance request & repair and preventative maintenance programs.Manages day to day terminal operations utilizing ILWU union and non-union workforce. Coordinates 3rd party surveyors to gauge and verify tank product levels and sample individual products per the instruction of the individual customers and their needs and prepares for shipment. Participates in pre-job safety meetings, job walks and project meetings. Gives facility tours and facility safety walks for existing and potential customers.Terminal Person In Charge (TPIC) and Facility Security Officer (FSO) Duties and Activities.
