After a 20-year career in church music ministries, I founded Great Lakes Yacht Brokerage. Then after 8 years of selling power and sailing yachts, I became a hospice chaplain and adjunct college professor --- teaching primarily in the Religion Department. From 2009 through 2013, I wrote three book manuscripts and completed a doctoral degree. The doctoral major is in music theory with a minor in choral conducting and an emphasis in Eastern Orthodox Church history and liturgy. I completed a dissertation based on transcribing a dozen sacred motets (composed in 1585) into modern notation, along with editing them for SATB ensembles and translating them to be sung in English (in addition to the original Latin text).A second doctoral dissertation was entitled "Water Baptism and Spirit Baptism: As Taught in the Scriptures." Much of that writing is now available in a 390-page book by that title and in a more extensive e-book with that main title and the subtitle "Expanded Edition."I have also served on the Board of Directors for the Kenosha Symphony Orchestra for over fourteen years, including serving as president during crucial years when searching for a new Music Director (2011-12) and for an Executive Director (2013-14).Currently, I serve full-time as a Chaplain for a psychiatric hospital in Milwaukee, and I have three Christian books published through Xlibris and several other books available through Smashwords as e-books. Life is an exciting journey with the Lord. To God be the glory.

Author Of 3 Books Published Through Xlibris And Additional E-BooksKenlenz.Com Jan 2017 - PresentGod’s Son “Forsaken,” His Sacrifice “Finished!” is a book on the atoning sacrifice of Christ — written uniquely from His perspective, as expressed in two statements He made from the cross. It was written to help readers understand what was truly accomplished on the cross and how that can apply to them.Water Baptism and Spirit Baptism is a 390-page book that clearly and comprehensively explains the biblical teaching of both water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. In so doing, it covers all passages that have a bearing on these topics, and considers alternative viewpoints and interpretations. Confession and Communion is a book that explores these two related topics, based on the teaching of Scripture, in order that the reader might come to a deeper understanding of these two important aspects of the Christian life, and more properly engage in these acts of contrition and devotion. The Orthodox Church is an e-book with sections on Eastern Orthodox Church history, doctrines and practices. It includes an Evangelical perspective on those doctrines and practices — particularly their teaching on "sacraments" (such as Baptism and the Eucharist).Water Baptism and Spirit Baptism: Expanded Edition is an comprehensive e-book that includes sections on:Water Baptism in the New TestamentSpirit Baptism in the New TestamentWashings and Cleansings in the EpistlesInfant BaptismBaptism in Early Christian Writings

Manager And BrokerGreat Lakes Yacht Brokerage Jun 1998 - Nov 2006Racine, Wi And Waukegan, IlOwned and operated a brokerage that served both power boaters and sail boaters. We created a niche within the brokerage industry by allowing "open listings," beginning in Racine, Wisconsin and up through Door County. My intention was to make it possible to open offices throughout the Great Lakes Region, and we did expand into Illinois with an office in Waukegan and advertised in the Chicago boat shows and at marinas into Michigan; however, we did not expand further. The brokerage closed after the economic recession hit, as we just couldn't keep the business afloat.
