Kenneth is a native Mandarin speaker and has extensive experience working with Chinese clients and counterparts. He is Deputy General Counsel (Global Head of Products, Legal) at OKG, the group company of OKX, one of the world’s largest crypto exchanges. He is an M&A lawyer by training and have extensive regional experience, having lived and worked in Myanmar for a total of 5 years. Kenneth regularly advises both startups and VC funds on fundraising and general corporate matters. He is also Venture Partner with a highly-regarded Hong Kong VC. With the rise of Web 3.0, Kenneth expanded his scope from cross border M&A and investments to crypto-related advisory work. Kenneth’s regulatory experience extends to frontier markets, honed by his years living and working in Myanmar, where he advised a multitude of international clients looking to navigate the ever-changing legal landscape of a frontier economy. Kenneth is also a certified enterprise risk manager, having served as the Head of Enterprise Risk Management of the APAC region of a European multinational company. Kenneth has been an entrepreneur himself, having set up various businesses including an ASEAN-focused investment and legal consultancy, a sports apparel brand, and a football club and academy in Portugal. Outside of work, he is an active volunteer. He is a Member of both the Finance & Investment Committee as well as the Sustainability Committee of the Tanjong Pagar Town Council. He is also the Head of the Sustainability Sub-Committee of the Tanjong Pagar-Tiong Bahru Citizen Consultative Committee, where he works closely with Minister Indranee Rajah (Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Finance, Second Minister for National Development). He is also co-founder of The High Panters, a non-profit running crew whose mission is to raise money and awareness for various charities. His highest sporting honour was winning the Singapore Sports Awards by the Singapore National Olympic Council in 1999 as part of the Singapore National Under-18 Men’s Rugby Team.
