It is organized under the directorate of Veterans Education, Training, and Employment (VETE), within the Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS), an agency of the Secretary of Veterans and Defense Affairs.

Reporting to the North American Head of the Veterans Program and overseeing the Veterans Program in North America (regionally), the key responsibilities of this role include the end to end management of the FDM employment model for Veterans to include Recruitment, Assessment, Training, Placement and Support. As an extension of this responsibility, the Regional Head of the Veterans Program will track recruiting/sales metrics and report data weekly to the North American Head of the Veterans Program to ensure established targets are met.
