I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Pharmacology and a Master of Research (M.Res) in Biomedical Sciences. Since the completion of my Doctoral studies, I have held positions in both academia and industry, at home and abroad. Having held appointments at the Irish Medicines Board (IMB), INSERM U143 and INSERM U765, and CRVB (Centre for Research in Vascular Biology, UCC), I am an experienced, all-round performer with expert scientific knowledge and a multitude of skills derived from different professional experiences. In my most recent role, I have developed project management skills in the delivery of specific programmes of research and scholarship focusing on stem cell differentiation, dynamic interactions between platelets, circulating cells and tissue remodeling. My writing skills have been developed in the establishment of a track record of high quality peer reviewed publications of international standing (15 peer-reviewed publications, H index:9 RG Score: 27.76 (higher than 85% of ResearchGate members). I have also worked on the design and generation of complex medical graphical information and is thus well-practiced in the capacity of content management, overall direction and technical advice in medical multimedia. In my career to date, I have been exposed to a range of environments in which I have developed excellent technical communication skills.
