I have taken on a new role in February of 2021 , but I am still at Lockheed Martin, I have been at the same facility going on 35 years. I now am the project Engineer for one of our new programs, I set schedules make sure we are on schedule, I also make sure that I am heavily involved with any problems and part of the problem solving. I interface with the customer and vendors, I work with sub contracts to make sure are parts are on time so the build keeps moving forward. With all my years of Quality experience, doing AS9100 pre audits, source inspections, part inspections and AS9102 FAI's review and writing, this helps me preform at the top in my new role.I am also IPC 610 and IPC 620 certified. I also hold a DOD secret clearance.

Sr. Quality Engineer/Engineering Assurance Specialist

As a quality tech. /engineering assurance specialist, I am very experienced in how to develop, implement and maintain a quality management system. I currently utilize my thorough knowledge of QA principles, concepts and methods at Lockheed Martin, in order to efficiently plan and accomplish the difficult and complex work that I oversee at this facility. I have established a well developed and comprehensive surveillance plan based on our customers requirements, handling practices, special processes and policies and procedures, and also included in the contract technical review data package. I am IPC-610 certified for the acceptability of electronic assemblies. I maintain a scheduled surveillance plan by following the times to perform surveillance promptly and working with the technicians in a professional manner, so surveillance can be performed efficiently and to assure contractual dates can be satisfied

My duties at Sun Automation were many, ranging from small detail assembly coordinator, to acting assistant manager for over a year, I also on many different occasions; I would help out with problems in the quality control lab. My daily routine would have me assembling very sophisticated transmissions and interrupted gear box assemblies, to operating milling machines and many other different machine shop machines. I also would oversee the many other areas in the business, shipping, receiving and also helping out in the engineering side, doing reverse engineering using a Faro arm. I also did some small amounts of welding and many other shop operations.

My duties at CAF transit even though I was only there for a short time, varied from assembly installer to main line crew leader in charge of 27 workers, my duties had me doing many different jobs from installing seats on subway cars to doing end line testing of subway car functions. I was also team leader on a crew that did a complete system rework on the electronic heating systems that were malfunctioning, which consisted of analyzing the problem, finding a solution and completing the rework in a timely order. I also was promoted to crew leader, I then did assembly scheduling and troubleshooting when there were major problems, as well as everyday employee supervisory functions. I used many hand and power tools to achieve my goals and do my jobs with zero quality rejections. I was also given the task to find ways to save the company time and effort and implement these new ways into everyday functions.

Sheet Metal Technician/Aircraft Maintenance Technician

While at MRAS, I did many jobs and held many positions, I worked in the sheet metal department in there aerospace division, also I worked in the aircraft maintenance facility repairing aircraft thrust reversers. While in the sheet metal department, I did every and all fascist of sheet metal working, I operated punch presses, rollers, drop hammers and shrinker & stretcher machines, I also did many different forms of metal forming using Yoder hammers and many hand tools, I also hand worked many different types of parts from airplane skins to door pockets for the Apache helicopter and tail rotor sections on the Chinook helicopter. I also was asked to be a part of a group to utilize new efforts and find better ways to produce parts more efficiently, which allowed MRAS to gain more work from the Boeing company. While in the aircraft division, I repaired TF-39 thrust reversers, which we did minor rework to complete over haul. I also worked on the P3 horizontal stabilizer retrofits, building the first edition retrofit, developing process and procedures that are still in place today. While working there I also used many different riveting tools and assembly fixtures, I had to follow very detailed blue prints and assembly procedures.

Linear Calibration Technician/Sr. Qa Tooling Inspector

When starting in the position as a linear calibration technician, I was trained to perform many duties from simple gauge block set ups to calibrating all linear measuring tools, ranging from dial calipers, height gauges, micrometers and many other hand measuring tools. I also operated the super micrometer while calibrating threaded plug gauges and all pin gauges. As a calibration technician I also had the duties to set up many dial bore gauges, for the machine shop and tool room. I also helped write many of the new calibration procedures that were followed to help make process improvements. As the growth of my knowledge expanded, I was asked to move to a more challenging position as a Machine parts/tooling inspection technician. In that position I did many different jobs from inspecting different small parts to inspection of tools to build horizontal and vertical stabilizers and General inspection tools to accept final assembly of the General Electric 80C thrust reversers, I used many different measuring tool ranging from calipers and height gauges CMM’s to levels and optical measuring transits. When work slowed down, I had the opportunity to move throughout the factory into many different jobs and doing many different types of quality inspection and manufacturing jobs. I worked in the tool room for awhile, in that area, I built many small tools and also built many large tools that were used to manufacture fairings for submarines. I also had the chance to work in the Experimental prototype lab for a couple of years, while there I did a lot of advanced lay-up and composite work for the WAA fairing program and the Pratt & Whitney composite thrust reverser.
