As a Architectural intern / Project Manager I am responsible for designing, drafting, and modeling, of projects as well as managing consultants and paperwork associated with each project. Experiences include site meetings, on site measuring, and direct client interaction. Design aspects include overall architectural design, interior design and furniture design for custom homes, restaurants/retail and office space.

As an architectural Intern for FORS Architecture+Interiors, accurately measured new project sites, interacted with clients, sketched plans and map spaces for CAD drafters providing quality support and increasing efficiency of senior staff. Worked directly with architectural principal to accurately 3D model custom homes using Google Sketchup. Finalized 3D models using Photoshop to render spaces for client consultations. - Effectively collaborated with staff/clients; convinced clients of design intent and concepts. Received and recorded RFI forms; worked directly with architectural principle to draft and approve changes before sending revised forms to contractors. Reviewed construction document project materials, equipment and fixtures; edited notes in order to reflect RFI forms changes. Worked directly with suppliers, and distributors to obtain price, stock, and lead time on materials, samples, furniture, and fixtures for current jobs. Placed orders, verified order confirmations and set up client deliveries. As Capstone project, researched community and designed new local community center through model building, sketching, and computer modeling addressing issues of teen homelessness and community outreach for an underserved Tucson population. - Improved space/resource access and quality of life. Successfully presented project to over 25 faculty, architects and guests. Designed and built single family home through Drachman Design Build Coalition using sustainability and student labor to reduce costs for low-income first time home buyers. Worked with student colleagues to design/construct rammed earth and stick frame residence. - Learned how specific details come together during construction process and importance of communication between city officials, permitting departments, and contractors.

Administrative duties included filing, organizing paperwork, faxing, copying, telephones, scanning documents, boxing up/storing tax documents. Utilized strong computer skills Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
