I am a Graduate Sports Rehabilitator (GSR) at MSc level and a sports and exercise scientist at BSc level. My thesis topic was investigating if by increasing hip extension we can in fact increase hip flexion. I have a keen interest in sports and especially into injury treatment and prevention through application of rehabilitation and pre-habilitation conditioning programs. I currently work in Sólás na Mara, a unique clinic where we offer expert advice, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for all musculoskeletal issues along with our recovery seaweed baths to enhance healing. I use both manual and functional therapies to treat and rehabilitate a wide patient demographic of all ages and levels of activity. My functional approach to rehabilitation reduces recovery time and reduces the risk of re-injury.
