I am a prior military IT Professional with 11 years of experience. I have worked extensively with Windows operating systems, having networked with every desktop OS since Windows 2000 and every server OS since Server 2003. I have worked with virtualization, hosting platforms, and application compatibility. I am very familiar with DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and TCP/IP protocols. I have worked with Microsoft Exchange in both a single server and multitenant environment.In my current position, I am responsible for the entire infrastructure and end user support as a member of a small team. We are also responsible for PCI Compliance.Previously, I have been a member of the help desk team, answering phone calls and tickets to provide customer service in a timely manner. My primary duties include MS Office, Printer, Windows OS, Internet Explorer, Exchange, login process, desktop, and laptop troubleshooting. I have also worked with the attached peripherals as needed. Recently, I have transitioned into more of a network administrator role, working on the Citrix environment and providing support and maintenance of all of the core servers and services. Previously, I have also worked on network infrastructure, particularly switching and routing. I have also worked with intrusion detection and response, firewalls, proxies, and various other security infrastructure. I possess a Comptia Network+ Certification. I also have several years of basic management experience, having overseen members of the help desk.
